Joshua began his accounting career at EY, where he trained and earned his Chartership with the Institute of Chartered Accountants of Scotland (ICAS), working as an Assistant Audit Manager. He made the move to Godfrey Wilson in order to work in a charity and not-for-profit focused environment, amongst like-minded colleagues with a passion for adding value to organisations doing good across the South West and the wider world.
Outside of work, Joshua is a Non-Executive Director of The C.H.E.E.S.E Project, a not-for–profit community interest company working to combat fuel poverty and reduce carbon footprints by improving domestic energy efficiency, and a Trustee of the Square Food Foundation, a charity which aims to improve food education and training, especially to those from disadvantaged backgrounds. He also enjoys sports including squash, and is an enthusiastic member of his local hockey club.
Before training to be an accountant, Joshua studied for a Master’s and a PhD in Civil Engineering from the University of Bristol, where his research focused on Timber-Concrete Composites.
