Alex joined the firm in 2021 as a trainee and qualified as an ICAEW Chartered Accountant in 2024. During this time, Alex has developed strong expertise in charity finance, delivering both statutory audits and independent examinations for not-for-profit organisations of varying size and complexity. Alex’s experience has encompassed international aid charities, grant-giving charities, faith-based charities, arts and culture organisations, student unions, and others. Prior to joining Godfrey Wilson, Alex spent six years working in industry, where he was responsible for managing the day-to-day finance function of an SME.
Outside of work, Alex serves as the Treasurer of The Nest Project, a Bath-based charity which supports families with young children experiencing financial hardship by providing essential clothing and equipment free of charge.
